For the purposes of this Cookie Policy, the following terms have the meaning set out below.
Controller means MACA EVENTS S.R.L., a company incorporated under the laws of Romania, with its registered office at 15 Gheorghe Șincai Bld., Block 5A, Entrance 2, Ground floor, Apartment 29, District 4, Bucharest, Romania, registered with the Trade Register under number J2024006276407 and having unique registration code 49819807 (“Controller”, “we”, “our” or “us”), operating AI EXPO at https://aiexpoeurope.com/ (the “Platform”).
Cookie means a small text file that is placed and stored on your device when you visit the Platform, and which allows the Platform to recognize your device on subsequent visits.
Session Cookie means a Cookie that is stored only in temporary memory and is automatically deleted when you close your browser. Session Cookies do not collect information from your device and typically store only a session identifier that does not, on its own, identify you.
Persistent Cookie means a Cookie that remains stored on your device after you close your browser, for the period set out in Section 3, so that the Platform can recognize your device on your next visit.
First-Party Cookie means a Cookie placed directly by the Platform.
Third-Party Cookie means a Cookie placed by a party other than the Platform, such as an analytics or advertising provider.
Personal Data, Processing, Data Subject, Consent and Supervisory Authority have the meanings given to them in our Privacy Notice.

Cookies allow the Platform to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the Platform. A Cookie may be a Session Cookie or a Persistent Cookie, and may be placed by us as a First-Party Cookie or by a third party as a Third-Party Cookie.
